Oracle AI Database@Azure
Oracle AI Database@Azure brings together the performance and security of Oracle Database with the scalability of Microsoft Azure, enabling organizations to build intelligent applications, modernize Oracle workloads and accelerate cloud and AI initiatives from a single platform.
What Is Oracle AI Database@Azure?
Oracle AI Database@Azure embedds AI functionality directly into the database engine. The service runs on Oracle-managed OCI infrastructure deployed inside Azure data centres, giving organizations access to Oracle’s latest AI and database innovations while remaining within the Azure ecosystem.
Rather than exporting data to external AI services, Oracle AI Database@Azure enables structured, unstructured and vector data to be stored and queried within a single secure environment. Key capabilities include:
- AI Vector Search for semantic and similarity queries
- Natural language querying with Select AI
- Built-in support for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
- Autonomous AI Database services
- Integration with Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, and Azure AI Foundry
This approach reduces complexity, minimizes data movement and helps organizations deliver AI solutions faster while maintaining enterprise governance and security.
At DSP-Eclipsys, our Oracle and Microsoft specialists help Canadian organizations design, deploy, migrate and optimize Oracle AI Database@Azure environments for performance, resilience and cost efficiency.

AI stays next to your data
Traditional AI architectures often require copying sensitive data into separate platforms. Oracle AI Database@Azure keeps vectors, documents and transactional data together, improving performance.
Query data using natural language
Select AI enables users to ask questions in plain English while Oracle translates requests into SQL, making enterprise data more accessible to business and technical teams.
Use the AI model that fits the workload
Organizations can integrate Azure OpenAI, OCI Generative AI, or other supported models without redesigning the underlying database architecture.
Enterprise security by design
Data remains within Oracle’s security boundary, with encryption, access controls, auditing and governance applied consistently across AI and database workloads.
Why choose DSP-Eclipsys as your Oracle AI Database@Azure partner?
Oracle and Microsoft expertise in one team
Many partners focus on either Oracle or Azure. DSP-Eclipsys brings certified expertise across both technologies, helping you manage the full architecture rather than coordinating multiple vendors.
Proven Oracle migration experience
We have extensive experience supporting Oracle database modernization, cloud migration, disaster recovery and performance optimization for enterprise customers across North America.
Minimal-disruption migrations
Using Oracle Zero Downtime Migration (ZDM) and Maximum Availability Architecture (MAA) principles, we help move production workloads with minimal impact to business operations.
Ongoing cost optimization
Oracle Database@Azure involves infrastructure, licensing, Azure consumption, and DR considerations. We help right-size deployments and continuously optimise cloud spend post-go-live.
Oracle AI Database@Azure: The Benefits
Accelerate AI Innovation
Build and scale AI applications faster with native vector search, machine learning, and generative AI capabilities built directly into Oracle Database.
Reduce Data Movement
Process AI workloads where the data already resides, improving security, lowering latency, and simplifying data pipelines.
Simplify Cloud Operations
Manage Oracle services through familiar Azure tools, identity services, and operational processes while leveraging existing Azure investments.
